In Bristol's version of the Exaltation ceremony, the candidate passes through four veils as part of their journey toward being exalted in the Royal Arch. Each “veil” represents a deeper spiritual and philosophical truth.
The workings maintain a strong focus on the esoteric and symbolic aspects of Freemasonry, making this form of the Veils Exaltation ceremony one of the most distinct in England. The ceremony not only serves as a progression through the Royal Arch but also as an opportunity for Masons to engage with a richer, more complex layer of Masonic tradition that has been preserved for centuries.
This rare and Grand event will be hosted by Blair Chapter 815 on Monday 27 January 2025 at 6pm in the illustrious setting of the new Chapter room at Hemsley House. The ceremony will be carried out by the East Lancashire Royal Arch Demonstration team and witnessed by the Deputy Grand Superintendent, accompanied by many Royal Arch Masons from around the Province.
