Palatine Chapter 2447 is a very successful united effort between the two Provinces of East and West Lancashire. Since its re-dedication in 2018, the Chapter has been a member of the Universities Scheme, and home to many Royal Arch Masons from both Provinces; serving a very special opportunity for Royal Arch membership for the members of the local Universities Scheme Lodges (although not exclusive to these Lodges).
The Chapter is especially known for carrying out multiple Exaltations; a style with which it intends to continue. Having Exalted five Master Masons at the previous meeting, the Chapter intends to do the same for Master Masons from three different Universities Scheme Lodges.
The Most Excellent Third Grand Principal Gareth Jones OBE, will be accompanied by the Grand Superintendents and the respective delegations from both Provincial Grand Chapters; celebrating the ongoing success of this partnership between the two Prov in connecting the Royal Arch very closely with University Freemasonry.
The evening will begin at 5pm with a tour of the museum at Warrington Masonic Hall; for which the Hall is very well known.
At 6pm, the casual setting of the buffet meal allows those in attendance to mix and meet and greet as many Companions as possible. The meal cost is £20
At 7pm, the convocation begins. This will include receiving the Third Grand Principal and the MEGS's followed by a multiple Exaltation.
The evening will conclude after the Companions gather together for desserts following the convocation: toasts are given and all depart for an early night.
